When we were told to think of an app idea we realized in todays world almost everything you need has an app for it.
We felt the desire, or rather the intense need to do something useful for the society.
Currently there are 2.6 Million applications present on the Google Play store.
Out of which only 35600 are specially developed for the visually impaired which is approximately 1%.
More and more apps are trying to become visually impaired friendly by adding bigger icons, high contrast buttons and voice overs.
An estimated 285 million people worldwide are visually impaired; 39 million are blind and 246 million have low vision.
Most common and necessary applications like the calculator are not suitable for people with low vision.
We hope to build an application meant for the disabled but enjoyed by all.
When talking about vision impairments, it has two kind of users: those with low vision and those with no vision.
We wish to take the needs of both these types of users into consideration
