This app is designed to help piano players learn and memorize piano chords and scales.
As a piano chord app it teaches the main chord types such as basic triads, seventh chords, augmented and diminished type chords. It also teaches the same chords in different inversions, so you are able to master playing the chords in different ways!
As a piano scale app, it teaches the main scales used in music including major, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales. The app also includes the modes for each of these scales.
Learning to play piano chords and scales is an important skill if you want to play jazz, pop, rock, soul or gospel music. Understanding piano chord and scale theory will also allow you to improvise freely on the piano.
This Piano chord and scale app offers different ways for students and professionals to learn piano chords and scales. You can pick flashcard mode, to view each piano chord or scale in 12 keys, or you can use the default interactive piano mode. In this mode, the app will show you each chord or scale and then test you. The app lets you progress to each new chord or scale at your own pace, until you have learnt it in all 12 positions on the piano.
