When an installer is running pipes, they often encounter a situation where they must make an offset in the line or lines. The Pocket Offset Calculator is an app that allows the installer to quickly and easily determine lengths and measurements that will allow them to build an offset correctly the first time.
With the information the app provides you can build single pipe offsets and flat multi pipe offsets that maintain an equal center-to-center spread. Single line offsets can be either flat(horizontal or vertical only) or rolling(horizontal and vertical changes).
This app was developed by a Steamfitter with field use in mind. You can use any degree fitting angle you would like. Enter the known information for Offset, Rise, and Spread and receive the answers rounded to the nearest 1/16 of an inch or the nearest millimeter.
