Pluckeye is a browser that by default renders text, but not images, audio, or video. It can be configured to show audio and visual media on other sites, and it does show images for a few sites, such as Google Maps, by default.
Pluckeye is most often used as a porn blocker / porn filter, and when so used, it is usually installed alongside an app locker.
There are many parental control apps on Android. Unless the extreme nature of Pluckeye appeals to you, you are encouraged to try them instead.
