BikeMec operates a mobile application for cyclists to track their components usages over time and distance. When users link their Strava accounts to the app, distance and time data from each ride is automatically updated to the app for each component. Each component can have a pre-set time & distance reminder for when it needs to be checked and taken in for a service. BikeMec also operates a website for use by bike shops. App users can choose to link to their chosen bike shop. Once they are linked, bike shops can also track component usages through the website, as well as log service invoices and job cards.
