The Freedman-Margeta Glaucoma Drainage Device (GDD) Calculator is a mobile application developed by Shivram Chandramouli based on the work of Margeta, Kuo, Proia, & Freedman (J AAPOS, 2017). This calculator serves as an adjunct tool to aid clinical judgment when implanting GDDs in the eye, especially small or pediatric eyes. The results obtained by the calculator are not intended to be definitive, nor can the authors guarantee that the results will be accurate in every case. Physicians who use the calculator must arrive at their own independent determination and are solely responsible for the surgical outcome.
