DevoteAbility is a discipleship tool for your church or small group that fosters accountability for your daily devotions and cultivates more meaningful relationships within your community.
With our private social networking app, your small group will participate in 40-day challenges to read the Bible and pray daily, or your team leader can customize your goals and challenge length. Everyone will record whether they met the devotional goal for the day in the app, and team members will be able to see how each person is progressing and how the group as a whole is doing. You can also share devotional insights and prayer requests with your team members to encourage each other and build deeper relationships.
Here’s how it works:
1. You or your group leader creates a team on our website and sends out invites to join.
2. Team members install the DevoteAbility app, create an account and accept the invitation.
3. The team leader selects one of our 40-day devotional challenges or creates a custom challenge.
4. Team members report their challenge activity daily and encourage one another by sharing insights and discussing life applications of what they are reading.
5. Team members create prayer requests to remind themselves to pray for specific needs, and can share these requests with the team.
We have learned that consistent daily devotions are key to building community, deepening our relationship with God, and experiencing the transforming power of Jesus in our life.
