This App is a tool designed as an augmentative and alternative communication aid that will support non-verbal adults who have complex communication needs. The App has an image-based category library equipped with touch speech functionality. It has been designed as a tool to aid non-verbal individuals with everyday communication. The App’s image-based library contains 9 categories; Food, Drinks, Treats, Clothes, My Things, Activities, Feelings, Health and Family. Behind each of these are the images relevant to that category. Once touched or tapped all the images have a speech functionality build into them for the user to understand what they have pressed.
All images have been designed modern, colourful and large enough to be suitable for all users, including those who may have impaired vision or restricted movement.
Designed to be usable by all people regardless of their age, mobility, ability or disability.
All images and icons have the touch speech functionality and images can also be placed together to create simple sentences.
