SkillChowk app is kind of nearby ‘Labour Chowk’ where People can find and contact nearby ‘Skill Providers’ and avail their services. In a single click skill search one can see all skill providers with-in specified distance range from one-self on a map, but for sure one can apply filters to list only specifi skill or search for specific skill(s) or search with-in specified range .
SkillChowk is a location aware electronic market place of skill consumers and skill providers where skill consumer can search and contact skill provider to avail the needed services.
It is first of its kind platform in India and world where common citizen would directly interact with the individual service providers providing various kind of services.
It will give you options of varied range of skill providers near you covering your any domestic or personal requirements such as plumbing, electrical work, woodwork, tutor, domestic help, labor, driver to software engineer and management professionals. There is no limit to it.
Features for Skill Providers:
- Skill Provider can register multiple skills.
- Skill Provider can specify time slot of availability so that only during the given time slot one can contact him.
- Skill Provider can turn off availability if say he is going on holiday and do not want him to be contacted during that duration.
- Skill Provider themselves can operate as Skill Consumer and search for other Skill Providers to avail their services.
- Skill Provider will have a default work location so that even if app is not running on Skill Provider’s mobile, Skill Consumer can still search and contact him. If app is running the Skill Provider’s current location will be used.
Advantages for Skill Consumers:
- Skill Consumer can do single click skill search and can see on map all Skill Providers within five kilometers radius of himself. Skill Consumer can apply Skill filter to list only specific skill.
- Skill Consumer can click on a marker to see Skill Provider’s ratings, photo, reviews etc and can contact Skill Provider via SMS or phone call.
- Skill Consumer can search for specific skill as well.
- Skill Consumer can specify the radius in kilometers in which he wants to search the skills.
