This a financial calculator for key personal finance equations. The user simply selects the desired calculation, enters key terms for the transaction, and presses “calculate” to see the result. Each section permits the user to examine multiple scenarios by altering terms such as interest rate, payment periods, payments amounts, or the amount of time applicable to the calculation. There is also a brief explanation for each calculation to provide basic insight as to when and why that calculation might be useful. It is a great tool for reinforcing basic principles about compounding and the value of regular investing and geared toward the high school personal finance student.
