The Port of Montreal Trucking PORTal is a free user-friendly application at the service of the road transport industry and truck drivers who frequent the Port of Montreal.

The “Trucking PORTal” application can be downloaded on smart phones. The Web version can be used on tablets and computers.

Shorten terminal wait times

The Trucking PORTal delivers info in real time on truck traffic and wait times at the Cast, Racine and Maisonneuve (Termont) terminals in the Port of Montreal.

Avoid congestion at the entrance to the Port

Posting wait times on the terminals lets the road transport industry and truck drivers better plan their routes to terminal gates and reduce congestion at the entrance to the Port.

The Trucking PORTal is an advanced new tool that provides a definite advantage for streamlining trucking: shorter wait times and faster access to the terminals.

Create personalized alerts

On the Trucking PORTal, you can create a profile and alerts that notify you when the wait time reaches the level that you set for the Cast, Racine and Maisonneuve terminals. You can also view the history of your wait times at the terminals during your last truck trips to the Port of Montreal.

Improve truck traffic

By using the Trucking PORTal, you’re helping to improve truck traffic on Port of Montreal territory.

The Trucking PORTal is part of the Port of Montreal’s Greenhouse Gas Projects’ (GHGP) that aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The Trucking PORTal makes it possible to fight pollution: improved truck traffic flow means less congestion at the entrance to the Port and a significant reduction in fuel use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
