Jordan University of Science and Technology Bus Tracking System is an application which serves three different parties; student, driver and administrator (System Moderator). Our system tracks every single registered bus for the students use throughout the campus, it shows a live feed of their location, speed, route, direction of busses, and their estimated arriving time.
A student may get notified of the arrival of the desired bus if it passes a specific point, it shows the bus stopping areas and time schedules. The system allows students to send complaints directly to the administrator.
As for the driver, he can set a refuel reminder. and can call an emergency unit directly in case of an accident or a breakdown. The driver also has a stop/move counter which turns red when the bus has stooped, and it turns green when the time is up; indicating that the bus should start moving.
Finally, the administrator has the full control over the whole system. He has the accessibility to view the busses data and to change the busses database. He can also view the busses violations in a separate view and may read and reply to the complaints through the complaint’s center.
