khelsansar.com is a project that aims to create the most comprehensive and authentic database of Nepali Sports fraternity easily accessible to people around the world on a single click. The project is the ambition of a team of young sports enthusiasts with wide experience in sports, sports journalism as well as IT sector. This will be the first comprehensive website of Nepali sports established with the aim to promote and preserve sports and sports persons.
No one can doubt the importance of date and records in sports in the 21st century. Sadly in Nepal there is no authority that can produce the records as data irrespective of few privately rub websites. We aim to preserve and promote the records of every Nepali sports person at the national as well as international arena. They can view their detailed record comprehensively when we make our project a reality within months.
Not just the players, even the sports associations in our country are very reluctant in maintaining a database of their own athletes and games. We plan to put up external as well as internal links of all the sports associations registered at the National Sports Council (NSC). This will definitely facilitate the associations concerned as well as the sports authority. The website will be updated every day with latest news and various highlights including player profiles and their performances. The main objective of the website is to promote the sports, sports persons and sports associations in Nepal at the local as well as international level. We hope that the website will not only be a popular tool to the players but as well as common sports enthusiasts who like to keep themselves abreast with the sporting activities of the country. Also the website will highlight some of the languishing talents to the fore. We aim to provide a platform for those unsung heroes and bring them to the national scene. There is only one aim of the project; to promote Nepali sports at the national and international level and maintain a comprehensive database. We believe that it is also our responsibility to handover the actual data of Nepali sports to the next generation.
