You can either search it alphabetically using the list ny clicking on the term, it will display the meaning. Or you can search the list on the second page easily using the drop down menu.
The price of the app is only $2.99 so as to raise funds to create more educational apps. The fee reflects the time and effort needed to create such app. Hope you will invest in this little app of mine. Your feedback is important also in improving the app. My goal is not to do business with this app here but to help students and individuals who seeks in learning and understanding the language of medicine.

Medical terminology is the words or terms that makes up the language of medicine. Like any other language there should be syntax or an order which the language can be formed. Medical terms can be broken into one or more word parts. Any medical term may contain one, some or all of these parts listed below:
Roots
Prefixes
Suffixes
Linking/combining vowels
Medical term should always consist of at least one root but sometimes they may have more than one. The root is the part which contains the essential meaning of the word.
I have compiled a list of nearly 1350 medical prefixes, roots and suffixes in this app along with their meaning.
There are many more but I have presented the most commonly used in this app.
I hope it is of help to you who have spent these few dollars to download this app.
