S4A (also known informally as "Swift(TM) For Arduino") is the first of a new generation of embedded tools. From the S4A Genius range, this is the first and only tool that allows you to use the Swift(TM) language to write fully native code for the AVR microcontroller found in the super popular Arduino UNO range of boards. (Other languages including Rust will be added in due course.)
The Swift(TM) languages are safe by design and eliminates whole classes of bugs via undefined behaviour. This will save you time and hassle debugging weird behaviour and, maybe more importantly, will make your embedded safe by design, built in from the start.
