Talking Europe is your unique app for pan-European political dialogue. An algorithm matches you to somebody who has a different political opinion than you and lives in another European country. You can, but do not have to, register to have multiple chats at the same time.
Talking Europe is your digital solution if you want to share your political opinion or discuss with somebody you don’t know. The system is simple: You answer up to five questions, choose where you live and will get matched with somebody from another European country who provided different answers. Talking Europe is available in up to 9 different languages and has a live-translated chat. This makes sure you can always read and write in your chosen language. With a few clicks, you set your profile and enter the chat. You do not have to travel to find your partner.
By this, Talking Europe wants to promote European democracy. Diskutier Mit Mir e.V., a non-profit organization from Germany, and other strong European partners such as Studieförbunden in Sweden, Vote&Vous in France or the Human Rights League in Portugal, want to foster a reasonable pan-European political dialogue before the European Elections. Talking Europe builds on successful existing platforms in Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Sweden.
