QLTS School is the premier training provider for the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) assessments, the fast track route for foreign lawyers who wish to qualify as solicitors of England and Wales. The programme is administered by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales.
We serve both individual lawyers and law firms, and are exclusively focused on the delivery of QLTS courses, which means that all our energy and resources are focused on developing content and strategies to ensure our candidates’ success in the assessments. We are the only training provider who is focused exclusively on offering courses for the QLTS since its introduction in 2010.
Our preparation courses cover each of the two elements of the QLTS: the Multiple Choice Test (MCT) and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The courses are based on professionally written textbooks, video tutorials and live skills workshops, mock exams, online training and extensive tutor support.
We deliver our training via hard copy textbooks and online materials – including 15 mock tests – for the MCT, and 125 mock exams, video workshops, one-to-one tutor support and mock practice stations for the OSCE. The online content is accessible through our Learning Management System (LMS). We also offer individual and group classroom workshops delivered by an experienced and skilled trainer.
Our materials are suitable for candidates from different backgrounds and varying levels of legal knowledge and experience in English law. You may be qualified in a common law or civil law jurisdiction, have little or extensive legal experience, English may be your first or second language, and you may be working full-time or part-time – whatever your circumstances are, you can be sure of expert support, quality training and the flexibility to tailor your training requirements so that you can prepare for and succeed at passing the QLTS assessments on your own terms.
This diversified and flexible training methods allow our candidates to prepare in their own time and according to their personal and work commitments, from anywhere around the world, and receive real-time and genuine feedback for their progress. Furthermore, our courses are suitable for candidates from different backgrounds and varying levels of legal knowledge and experience in English law. We have a proven track record of thousands of candidates who have passed the assessments on their first attempt. Our website includes a Success Stories page which offers video interviews with nearly 100 of our former candidates, who also share invaluable tips for success in the assessments. The videos have been filmed both in the UK and in dozens of locations around the world where our candidates are locally qualified, including countries such as Singapore, Russia, the US, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Turkey, India, EU countries (e.g., Spain, Italy, Germany, France and Greece), and other jurisdictions.
We give paramount importance to personalised customer support to prospective and current candidates. In many cases, QLTS School is the first point of contact when a candidate considers undertaking the QLTS assessments. We provide support through our experienced and dedicated team of account managers who offer advice to individual candidates and law firms from the moment they begin their research on the QLTS, throughout their preparation period, until they have completed the assessments successfully.
