DMU-2BT program
This is the application that runs on the tablet to perform a data logger action.
Readings obtained by the DMU data logger are shown graphically by the application and can be saved to permanent storage, to be used later.
Graphic Screen
This is the main window where data is shown in graphic format. .
Current GPS Data
When valid GPS data is available it will be displayed in this window
General Info
This window is used to display general info, warnings and results.
Station Number
The current station number is displayed here.
Reading value
The reading taken at the current station or the station selected on the graph with the cursor is displayed in this window.
Maximum value in line
The maximum value of the displayed line data is shown here.
Battery level
The battery level of the DMU data logger is read each time a station reading is taken and displayed as a % of maximum level.
GPS enable
If a GPS fix cannot be obtained, the GPS should be disabled by clicking on this button.
Save Data
Use this button to save current data in a file with the filename shown in the File Name window.
Load Data
Use this button to load current data in a file with the filename shown in the File Name window.
Start Line
The Start Line button is used to begin a new line of readings.
End Line
When the line has been terminated with the STOP button on the DMU data logger then use this button to end data acquisition on the tablet.
File Name
Enter a file name in this window to load or save data to Tablet storage
Plot Scale
The vertical plot scale on the screen can be changed with this setting. Average Pulse
The number of readings used to obtain a station reading can be set with this option
Station Spacing
The distance between stations can be set with this option.
BT Connect
Before readings can be taken a Blue Tooth connection must be set up between the Tablet and the DMU data logger
READ
After a new line have been started with the Start Line button, a file name must be entered in the File Name block:- Then press READ to send a command to the DMU data logger to start taking readings.
