The KochZap app is designed to help keep the Koch brothers out of your wallet. It is a simple reference to help you avoid buying products and brands related to Koch Industries.
The app's main screen has a scroll-able list of Koch product and brand logos, so it is easy to visually identify purchases to avoid.
You can also check a particular item by scanning the price tag, usually containing a UPC product label. KochZap will compare the label's company identity to our list of those owned by the Kochs, giving you a thumbs-up/thumbs-down response.
With only a few uses, you will become familiar with the brands to avoid in your lifestyle, and only have to use KochZap for an occasional reminder.
Charles and David Koch are the sole owners of the largest privately held company in America, and #8 on the top ten list of the world's worst polluters. If you want to oppose the Koch's continued campaign to legislate pro-business deregulation without regard to the environmental damage, then KochZap is your friend.
Given the dynamic nature of Koch Industries businesses, the KochZap app can't guarantee accuracy in evaluating products, though we do our best to keep up with changes.
