Joining a group is as simple as selecting the name & password, and remains private (there is no way to know what groups you joined or created).
Why use this instead of a messaging app?
Well, this is private by design and not meant to exchange, just to alert.
For example: you want to let your colleagues know it is time to go to lunch.
You can go desk by desk, or send an email, but you will certainly miss someone. You won't create a instant messaging group with 20 people (we know how messy that is!), and you probably don't want to give your personal phone number to your boss!

Create a group, with a name & password and define the maximum number of shouts per minute. Tell your colleagues to join your group.
Everything is private and pseudonym based. No private or personal data is recorded or used.
