We developed Clockjam with a different approach to parental control applications.
There are so many apps which time-lock devices, tell you where the children are, and control which applications they can access. We're not interested in doing more of the same. So we created a free and simple app that can disable mobile and broadband data on minor's devices unless they earn their time.
Parents can remotely manage minor's internet time by:
• blocking the minor’s internet connectivity instantly
• adding/removing time when the minor can access the internet
• Creating private educational quizzes for minors to earn extra time
• viewing the steps and activity based rewards of the minor
Minors can earn time in three ways by:
• doing private educational quizzes from parents or various online categories
• getting time credits via the parent's device
• doing 5,000 steps for every 30 minutes
We also made linking the parent and minor super easy. No need to install two separate types of apps. Simply download the same app from the app store to all devices for linking, pick the role of the user and scan the QR code for linking.
