Type text fast on a few big buttons. You can even type with one hand, the hand holding the phone.
Convert speech to text, or text to speech. ComboKey can listen and talk.
How to type: Just tap the letter, or in fewer cases, swipe a bit. Try and you will see. Or talk, and then edit if necessary before applying your text.
Can be used as a general purpose Android keyboard, terminal emulator keyboard (SSH etc.), coder/programmer keyboard (quick access to ~ ; [ | & $ etc.), one-hand or two-hand keyboard, multi language keyboard, even as a chorded keyboard (optional use). Speech function is useful e.g. when studying a foreign language.
Note that during installation, you will be asked to add ComboKey to your list of optional keyboards and grant permissions to use it as a trusted keyboard. According to ComboKey Privacy Policy, the typing information is only entered to the application using the keyboard, nowhere else.
While typing you can use one hand, or two if you like, on just a small number of big easy to reach keys, and switch back to the standard keyboard whenever you want. If you are comfortable with new ways of doing things, try this! A bit to get accustomed to, but possibly really rewarding. One hand is enough: hold and type! Believe or not.
Several languages are supported. With this optimized chorded keyboard, you can switch quickly between two languages, send the text as SMS, search the web, translate the text etc. - In most cases, this keyboard can be used without your reading glasses, by one hand - or two.
Languages: Angika, Assamese, Awadhi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Bihari, Bodo, CODING, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hawaiian, Hindi, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Kannada, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Marathi, Marwari, Nepali, Norwegian, Oriya, Pali, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Russian, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Tulu, Ukrainian.
ComboKey is based on tiptyper's old idea of the GKOS keyboard but the principle was largely upgraded to improve usability on touch screens to a much higher level. Now, let's tiptype!
