The game provides the concept of ‘learning through gaming’ with the main stationary-fashioned character, Qartoos. Through different adventures and various complexities between the city, the jungle, under the sea, snow and space, Qartoos helps children learn Arabic phonetics and challenges them to decipher between letter sounds with focus and entertainment. Qartoos is the first Arabic game to focus on phonetics encompassing within it a fictional story between Qartoos and Harrouf (Horouf’s mascot), who exchange knowledge in order to help one another reach their goal during the game.
