European Golden Oldies Rugby Fest 2017 is coming to Lisbon.
“Fun, Friendship, Fraternity and Family!” in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe!
Lisbon was awarded the honour to host the next EGOR Festival.
The EGOR Festival in Lisbon will be the 14th Edition to be held under the European Golden Oldies Rugby Movement.
The first European Festival took place in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, in Holland in 1992 when Teams from 8 countries took part.
The European tradition had begun thanks to local organisers from Dutch Exiles led by David Haynes.
Since then the EGOR Festivals grew and the last edition held in San Sebastian (Spain) had 60 Teams, and more than 1500 players
