The EMDM Triage Game is a unique serious game where a player learns to triage victims using the questions of the SIEVE triage system. The faster the correct victim is identified, the more rounds can be played. The victims used in the EMDM Triage Game are extracted from Victimbase© created by EMDM Academy.
Features:
- The player has 5 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible
- In every round the EMDM Triage Game selects four victim profiles of which one is the intended victim
- The player has to identify the chosen victim by asking the questions of SIEVE Triage and has to interpret the answer
- The questions are shown in random order, so the player stays focused on the triage process
- Each round the player scores (bonus)points, and the faster he identifies the correct victims, the more rounds he can play, and thus aquire more points.
- After 5 minutes the high score is shown, as well as round statistics
- The triage system can be viewed after completion of the game.
The EMDM Triage Game is a game where a player develops triage skills, and learns more about different victimprofiles. And furthermore: it’s fun to play and to see how good you are at triage.
