Around 180 children go missing per day in India and according to CRY (Child Rights and You), Maharashtra and Delhi have the maximum number of untraced children. While we know missing children are often led to be a part of organized crimes, illegal child labour and trafficking, there needs to be a differential structure to track them.
A team of 10 Students who have been working on live project under the mentorship of CampusOxide have developed a Mobile APP named “SPOTCHILD” which gives a platform to every citizen to track and report missing children anytime from anywhere. All users who want to report any child being missing / abandoned / caught trafficking in just 3-4 clicks, which includes photographs, demographic details.
