tl;dr: information are stored in an encrypted file on your Dropbox. You have full control over your data (nothing that is not encrypted never leaves your local device!) and you can use other tools (EasyPass for Desktop, OpenSSL, etc.) to access your data in case you need it.

EasyPass will help you to save your data safely using only one password.
EasyPass doesn't have a cloud. Instead, all the passwords are saved in a simple file (FYI for nerds: Json format) synchronised on Dropbox. To ensure password security, the contents of the file are encrypted locally using the AES-CBC encryption algorithm. This algorithm is currently considered strong and yields another advantage: it is supported by many softwares, including OpenSSL.
