Swipe away and find a practice buddy with whom you engage in an immersive activity to make sure the knowledge roots into your brain.
It's quite simple actually! You enter the languages you speak well and the languages you would like to practice and then you start swiping. You message a member and propose a meeting day/time. You meet, 20 mins happen in the language you know well and 20 mins in the language you would like to practice. By practicing regularly you get to use all the learnings you earned online or in class and with hellola you benefit from the unique immersive factor that will help you bump up your fluency level.
IMMERSIVE GROUPS: Neuroscience has proven that learning a language through immersion is much more effective than the traditional learning methods. Therefore, at hellola, we have created immersion groups that help you practice through an immersive activity. Going to the supermarket/shopping/walking/visiting museums and galleries has never been more constructive fun and conversational.
FREE MEMBERS: Enjoy three immersive groups for free and contact as many members as you like. Practice, practice, practice and become fluent in the language of your choice.
PREMIUM MEMBERS: Get access to as many immersive groups as you wish, create groups and enjoy your favorite activities while you practice a language. Practice sessions are always enjoyable when interests are shared!
COMPANY GROUPS: Create a private group for your company and help your team members and colleagues exchange their knowledge and practice the language of their choice. Expanding the linguistic capital of your company while creating strong intra-company bonds is just a click away!
BECOME A TEACHER: anybody can now become a conversation teacher for hellola members. Enter the language you feel confident to teach and the fee you would be comfortable with for a 40 minute session and propose your services to our members. You are paid directly by the member through paypal before or after the class (your choice). Conversation classes can happen in person or through skype. The world has just become your classroom!
