Description
“Makita Timer” is an application developed exclusively for antitheft solution for Makita-brand lithium-ion battery cartridges for manufactured and/or sold by Makita Corporation and its subsidiaries or affiliates.
The use of this application requires set of Makita-brand lithium–ion (Li-ion) battery (BL1830B, BL1850B, BL1430B, or other battery cartridges with model numbers ending in “B” or “C”) and Battery Timer Setting Adapter (BPS01).
Features
- Expiration time/date setting feature
Expiration time/date can be set to battery cartridges.
- PIN code authentication feature
PIN code and user name can be set to battery cartridges.
- Confirmation feature for adapter and battery cartridge settings
Settings for the adapter and battery cartridges can be confirmed using this app.

Tips for NFC communication
- Read the instruction carefully about the position of the antenna of your device, and how to activate NFC.
Depending on the model, the communication area may be very tiny.
- Pass your device over the N-mark of power tool at the moment of communication.
If your device fails the communication, stir the device to correct position and try again.
If your device is covered with a jacket or case, remove it from the device.
