This app is designed to help employees of a specific company. If you don't know what I'm on about, please do not download this app, or you'll be all like "wtf dude, this doesn't do anything", and then I'll be like "yeah bro, I toldjyaso", and you'll feel very silly because I'll laugh at you.
Anyway, what this does, is it silences your phone (sets to VIBRATE mode) whenever you arrive at work, if you work for the above mentioned trademarked company. It also disables Wi-Fi. When you leave work (after a few minutes), it'll re-enable Wi-Fi and sound so you don't miss any notifications!
You download and install the app, launch it one time, and it will re-launch every time you boot up your phone so you don't have to think about it again. As it launches, you'll see a flash notification with a rainbow symbol, a muted speaker, and a smiley face; so you know it's working.
Technical notes:
-Location is acquired via GPS coordinates using network (cell & wifi) as well as GPS as a failover.
-Location accuracy is within 500m, meaning when you're within half a kilometer of work, your sound and wifi will be disabled. If you somehow live within half a kilometer of work, maybe don't use this app.
-Battery usage is managed and minimized using various technical and magical means, so basically you should notice a very slight DECREASE in battery usage rather than an increase overall during the day (as compared with if you didn't change anything).
