Alarmatic is released free, ad-free and as open source, it lets you wake up your way and provides powerful and flexible features.
You can flip or shake to snooze or dismiss, automatically skip vacations (by checking your calendar for bank or personal vacations), choose custom ringtones and even display a custom screen saver / desk / night clock. The major features are outlined below:
☑ Automatically skip alarms when on vacation
No longer do you need to manually disable your work related alarms when you go on vacation, and then re-enable them once you are back.
Alarmatic automatically does this for you by looking at your calendar and checking your vacation events, both bank and personal vacations.
☑ Flip your device and other snooze settings
There are many ways to help you snooze your alarms in a way that best suits your needs, including the really quick method of just picking up you phone and flipping it.
☑ Shake yourself awake
Are you a heavy sleeper? Then instead of just pressing a button why not shake your device 10, 20 or even 30 times to snooze or dismiss. All configurable in the settings.
☑ Protection against accidentally dismissing an alarm
No one wants to accidentally dismiss an alarm, so we have provided a couple of features to help, long press, and even requiring a second confirmation press.
You can choose to enable either of these in the settings (both are off by default).
☑ Many alarm volume settings
A range of settings to control the volume of the alarms (fade in, system volume, maximum volume etc.).
☑ Notification of upcoming alarms
Display a notification of upcoming alarms. This also allows the dismissal of only this occurrence of the alarm, all future instances will still sound.
☑ Custom ringtone picker
Pick a standard alarm tone, or a custom tone by selecting any audio file stored on your device.
☑ Screen saver / Desk / Night clock
A screen saver / desk / night clock can display the current day, date and time as well as the time remaining until your next alarm. You can even select the color and brightness of the text displayed. It works with the standard Android screen saver feature as well as allowing you to manually launch it from within the app.
☑ Notification when your time zone changes
When you travel into a different time zone your current alarms might not be appropriate for your new location. Alarmatic can issue a notification reminding you to check your alarms so you can change them if necessary.
☑ Opt-in User experience improvement program
We care about your user experience, so if you opt-in will would collect anonymized usage data so we can help improve our application to best suit your needs. We use Google Firebase for these services. Please see our privacy policy for more details.
☑ Open beta program

App permissions explained:
* Calendar - read access to your calendar when trying to skip vacations.
* Storage - read access to storage locations when selecting a custom alarm sound.
* Foreground service - alarms need to be run in the foreground so you get the notifications correctly.
* Vibration - so we can make the device vibrate when the alarm goes off.
* Run at startup - when your device restarts we need to be able to schedule all your alarms.
Permissions required only if you have opted-in to the user experience improvement program - used by Google Firebase:
* Full network access
* View network connections
* Receiver data from the internet
* Prevent phone form sleeping
* Play Install Referrer API
