Choose one of the news stories currently published on the BBC news site. It will be typed up on your screen - and when it stops it's over to you to predict the next word.
Use your intuition, your knowledge of the world, or your grasp of journalese to make your guess. There are 10 missing words to get, but you also have some extra help on your side - for each news story you can use 3 different kinds of hints:
- Reveal the first letter of the missing word
- Show the word that comes after the missing word
- Read a dictionary definition of the missing word
With these hints, some practice and bit of luck you may one day manage to get full marks.
