BHIM AADHAAR Pay– J&K Bank application for merchants would encourage the use of digital Payments for performing purchase transactions at merchant establishments without the need of MicroATM/PoS terminal by using customer’s biometric and Aadhaar number. With this solution, our Bank merchants (Individual or Sole Proprietor) can accept payments for goods/services using an android smartphone and Biometric scanner from customers having Aadhaar seeded bank account after Biometric authentication from Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
The Aadhaar payment would also be helpful for customers to get rid of their stacks of plastic money and multiple passwords. Also, the customers need not download a digital payment wallet or even need a smartphone.
The bank account holders having Aadhaar Seeded with their accounts, does not require having any debit or credit card or even a mobile Phone.
FEATURES
a. BHIM Aadhaar Pay– J&K Bank app will allow the customer to perform a purchase transaction using his/her Aadhaar number and Biometric (Fingerprint).
b. The transaction will be interoperable as well as ONUS in nature allowing any bank customer to transact through BHIM Aadhaar Pay J&K Bank application.

Requirement:
To get Onboard as Merchant:
The merchants (Only Individuals or Sole Proprietor) need to have the following to start using BHIM Aadhaar Pay- J&K Bank:
UIDAI Certified Biometric Reader (Shall be provided by the Bank)
Android smartphone with Android version 4.2 or higher with internet connectivity
As A Customer:
The only requirement for the customer is to have an Aadhaar seeded Bank account.
