The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, NIT Jamshedpur will be organizing TECHNICA’19, the annual symposium and flagship event of SMES (Society for Metallurgical Engineering Students) in association with The Indian Institute of Metals, Jamshedpur Chapter, during 18-20 January, 2019. This unique technical convention allows budding metallurgists from all over the country to congregate and share their knowledge and experiences with one another through technical paper presentation, poster presentation, etc. The symposium is also a platform for participants to exchange ideas amongst students of different institutions and learn from the various workshops conducted by the technocrats of the industry.
