# Why?
###
The Getting Things Done book is one of the top 3 books that have changed my life. I have tried a lot of To Do applications (few of them for a few years) that claim to let me implement the GTD methodology, however, there are always some annoyances here and there that go against some of the key principles found in the book. I have bought a few Set Up Guides, and have been waiting for someone to create that application for me, the GTD Purist.
It has been 18 years since the publication of the book, nobody seems to get it (or they just refuse to target such a niche market), and I am done waiting. I set out to create the application that a GTD Purist like me would use on a day to day basis, and hope that it will benefit the rest of the like minded GTD Practitioners.

# The Importance of Hard Edges
###
Claritist ensures all stuffs are clearly organised into separate lists. All the lists are clearly laid out on the first page with the stuffs count for an overview.
Everyday, look at least once at "Tickler Today" for stuffs that you want yourself to be reminded today.
When you are in capture or clarify mode, go straight into "Inbox", and do not be distracted by the rest of the stuffs.
If you want to organise, nothing else gives you better clarity than laying out all the lists in one view, letting you decide to split lists that have too many items, or merge lists that have too little.
When you are reviewing to reflect your week, know for sure that each stuff only appears once in a list and never elsewhere. You will only need to go through all the lists once to make sure you reviewed everything, and do not need to look at the same thing twice.
Most of the time, you will engage, going into one of the next actions list and ignoring the rest.
###
# Move Stuffs
###
During the processing stage, easily move the inbox items to other lists. A repeating task can also routinely be moved between Tickler and Next Action list.
###
# Tickler
###
Ticklers are treated as first class citizen. Tickler On Dates are clearly distinct from Due Dates.
###
# Projects
###
Projects are treated as any normal stuffs and are given full lines as they deserve. Projects can have due dates that are clearly visible in the project list.
###
# Actives & Support Materials
###
Actives (next actions, waiting fors, ticklers) are associated with projects to ensure each project have at least one active. Project Support Materials are added as notes to the project and can accept texts and photos.
