Around the world, 821 million people do not have enough of the food they need to live an active, healthy life. One in every nine people goes to bed hungry each night, including 20 million people currently at risk of famine.
Hunger kills more people every year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. There are 805000000 Hungry people, 553000000 Malnourished, 300000000 Hungry children and 130000000 hungrily dead around the world.
Similarly One third of the Food produced gets wasted around the globe. Lets work together to bridge the gap , to reduce Hunger and food waste in the country.
HBE is a registered nonprofit that provides a mobile based solution allowing excess food as well as Cloths and Books to be donated from the food service industry and people who don't need it to qualified charities that work with the needy.
Actually the User just have to register on the app and they have to choose what kind of donation they want to do they can Donate Food in Limited Quantity as well as in Bulk.
They can also donate Books and Cloths to needy once. Once the user sends the Request our volunteer will contact you and pickup the delivery and serve them to needy onces.
The user will be also notified about there donations.
Those who ready to act as a volunteer can register as a volunteer by sending us an mail at contact.hbe.in@gmail.com. The app itself and can collect food from different donors and serve to Charity.
We are presently working in Coimbatore City - Greater Noida (Alpha) and we are working to expand to other cities in near future.
