ABOUT:
Awayback is a new augmented reality app designed for creating & storing your personal memories big or small. Memories can be relived by yourself and experienced by your close friends and family visiting the location where they were made.
PURPOSE: Awayback is designed to put your history into your total control. The vanity and public view of traditional social networks does not apply here.
THERE IS NO PUBLIC OPTION: Awayback is about sharing personal memories and messages only with those who are truly most important to you.
IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES : 50 years from now, your children could discover memories you created long before they were born.
AWAYBACK IS DEDICATED TO:
- To all the parents who get back to spending more time with their children while enjoying the fun of making lasting digital memories.
- To all the kids out there who want to create memories to enjoy years down the road without the competitiveness and peer judgement of traditional social media.

LIMITATIONS:
- Geo-coordinates can only be approximated up to 10 meters but we are constantly working on making this more precise
- AR view is supported on iPhone 7 & up, but the general functionalities of the app are available to all users
- Video deposits need to be kept around 100 MB for best performance
- Users can only add contacts to memories if they have already added the app, we are working on removing this limitation
PERMISSIONS PROMPTS:
- Awayback needs your location services to allow you to deposit & find memories in their approximate area
- Awayback would like to use your camera so you can take photo or video memories within the app
- Awayback would like access to your Contacts so that you can share memories with your contacts
- Awayback would like access to your photos so that you can store memories from you phone gallery to the app
