It’s an app where you can lend and borrow anything from other people
You can spend tens of thousands of hours of your life working to buy things that will spend most of their “life” not in use...but someone has exactly the things you want and need and they're willing to let you borrow it —for free, or a fair fee. I get it, people don’t trust each other, and even when they do, it can still be weird to ask.
But now it's so easy for neighbors, friends, and strangers to trust each other with their things—from ladders, to dresses, electronics, and toys—sure, there are some things you want to own but for everything else, why buy when you can borrow? Especially now with the Livelihood app, it’s so easy to communicate, schedule, and keep each other accountable.
Just imagine you really need a kayak, an electric drill, or even some fancy shoes—but you only need it for a little while and don’t want to go out and buy one so instead you tap a few buttons on your phone then it shows up at your door, from someone who is letting you borrow it.
That’s the idea—so to get started, get the Livelihood app, and the next time you want or need something, request it from the people around you.
You don’t have to join Livelihood, but then you’ll be missing out.
