The Luiseño keyboard application was developed by the Pechanga Tribe to assist with typing phonetic symbols that represent the sounds of the language. In the United States, Luiseño is spoken throughout southern California. The keyboard application allows users to type letters in the language, in which the development of special characters allow for the orthography to be represented in the iOS and OS system.
