AmbiVan is a joint venture of Indian Road Safety Campaign, IIT Delhi and AIIMS Trauma Care. The project aims at providing fast and reliable ambulance service through a wide network of hospitals and ambulance providers brought under one roof.
AmbiVan aims to minimize the deaths of accident victims due to unavailability of an ambulance during the Golden Hour by providing fast and reliable ambulance service in just one tap.
The app has the following features-
Connect to an ambulance on a press of a button during emergencies using a mobile app or website.
Booking ambulance service free of cost.
Booking specified ambulance according to patient’s condition: A direct link between ambulance drivers and users through a simple interface.
Keeping a database of all the emergency information of the user.
‘Alerting Message’ to emergency contacts when the user presses the emergency button.
Navigation and information of the nearest hospitals to avoid delays at the time of emergency.
‘Expert advice’ and ‘Tips and Tricks’ directly from profound doctors on the duties of a First Responder.
Multi-language support.
