Scheduling short exercise moments during the workday is vital for your health. Micro-breaks prevent small muscles and tendons from becoming overburdened, thereby ensuring a healthy blood circulation. Because they (micro-breaks) also stimulate the blood circulation in the brain, you will find that you can concentrate better and are ultimately even more productive.
When you are busy or working with high concentration, the breaks often fall short. That’s why we have developed a pause tool that reminds you to interrupt your work in time to keep working healthily. Many current pause (“Pause") software often use pop-ups that pop at the wrong time, leading to stress and increase muscle tension. With R-Go Break, we have opted for a positive way by means of subtle color signals. During work, the light changes color, like a traffic light. If the green light turns on, it means you are working healthily. Orange light indicates that it is time for a short break and Red indicates that you have worked too long. And if you wish to, you can also set your own personal sound signal as a pause-reducing device.
Did you know that the keyboard and mouse can also remind you to take short (micro) breaks? Our patented R-Go Break mouse and the R-Go Split keyboard are equipped with an LED light. This light changes color during use, so you get a subtle signal at a glance when it’s time for a break.
The R-Go Break software is customizable. For example, you can increase the pause frequency in case of pain or on the advice from your therapist. The standard break times of the R-Go Break software are set according to the Dutch Health & Safety guidelines and on the advice of ergonomic experts: 30 seconds break after every 10 minutes of work, 5 minutes break after every hour with a daily limit of 6 hours of screen work.
