This is volume 6 of the Ante-Nicene Fathers, the fathers of the early Christian church who lived before the 4th century.
This volume contains various fragmentary material from the following authors:
1) St. Gregory Thaumaturgus or Gregory the Miracle-Worker (213 – 270 AD), was a Christian bishop in Caesarea. Famous for his missionary zeal (there were 17 Christians in Caesara before he arrived and 17 non-Christians left at his death) and for his miracles.
2) St. Pope Dionysius of Alexandria named "the Great," 14th Pope of Alexandria from 248 until his death in 264. Most known information about him comes from Dionysius' large surviving correspondence. Only one original letter survives to this day; the remaining letters are excerpted in the works of Eusebius.
3) Sextus Julius Africanus (160 - 240) was a Christian traveler and one of the first Christian historians. He is important chiefly because of his influence on Eusebius, on all the later writers of Church history among the Church Fathers.
4) St. Anatolius of Laodicea (early 3rd century - 283), Bishop of Laodicea on the Mediterranean coast of Roman Syria, and was one of the foremost scholars of his time in the physical sciences as well as in philosophy. He was also a great computist.
5) Pope Peter of Alexandria and many others from the same time period.
This app version of the work is linked to the Bible and has the footnotes linked to a separate file.
