The project involves the development of an Android application for Crime Incidence Reporting that can be used by the barangay officer, and police officer. The importance of this study is to help the barangay official and the police station to respond immediately to the complaint.
It will use Google map to locate the crime incident reported by the citizen. It will allow the the barangay and police officials to respond immediately to the report by receiving phone application notification. However, the system needs to set-up first the needed barangay and police station through assigning officials by the system administrator before the implementation of the system.
The application was developed using Java language and eXtensible Markup Language in Android Studio, Google firebase for the database, and Google Map for the location map. The application can only be used with internet or WIFI connection and can be installed and used only in Android mobile phones with KitKat and up version.
