This calculator may raise a lot of questions why you can see objects that are technically below the horizon.
A great place to start or verify your beliefs about the world in which we live.
Start by selecting your preferred units of measure (kilometres or miles).
Then enter the distance you can see and the height you are standing above sea level. Remember to add your height!
The calculator will then work out how far below the horizon the object should be if you live on a globe!
Don't be surprised if the calculator shows it is below the horizon and not possible to see! If you can see it then it simply means you are on a Flat Earth!!!
