You can withdraw money from your FOOi account to your bank account via direct deposit whenever you wish.
No Phone? No Problem!
If you are earning tips, fundraising, or collecting money and can’t access your phone, you can broadcast your profile with a beacon! A beacon easily fits in your pocket and shares no personal data other than your account name. Anyone using FOOi nearby can now send you money. Email info@FOOi.ca to order your beacon.
Fees
Sending and receiving money is all 100% free through FOOi! Our only fees are a $0.50 charge for loading less than $20 at once. Also, there is a 2.96% fee on withdrawals (this is waved for students and student groups).
Transfer Safely and Securely
FOOi is a Registered Money Service Business (MSB) in Canada and abides by all rules and regulations to ensure safe and legal use of the money service platform, in accordance with FINTRAC. Your credit information is securely held by Braintree, a PCI DSS compliant gateway that is a subsidiary of PayPal. FOOi has the same security levels of other merchant gateways, ensuring the safety of your personal and credit card data. We couple automated and human review to monitor for fraud and utilize many fraud tools commonly seen in banks.
