GelCAP is an IOS app that works only with the GelCAP device, a portable smartphone based gel imager. It allows you to capture DNA and protein gel images with the GelCAP device, and performs simple image data management.
Features of this app include:
1) Capture and save gel images. Delete function is also included to allow removal of any unwanted image.
2) Settings: two file formats can be chosen from: JPG or TIFF. Also, oversaturation marking function is available and can be turned on and off in the settings.
3) Viewing of saved images in thumbnail or whole screen size.
4) Image files deletion.
5) Comment editing of each saved image.
