Bycyklen is a bike share system that aims to promote green transport. The bike has an electric motor and will assist you up to 24 km/h. A full battery should last you up to 25 kilometers depending on your riding style.
To rent a bike, you need to select a preferable price plan, create a user account and attach your credit card.
The DKK 200 you see in your credit card information is a deposit we reserve when you create a Bycyklen account. The DKK 200 will be released by us after two days.
Launch the application and find the nearest docking station or drop zone. On the Map you can see the number of available bikes at each station. If you are near some docking station with available bikes you can start your trip on the selected bike.
You can lock the bike by clicking ‘Lock bike’ in the app and follow the instructions. The payment continues while the bike is locked. When your bike is locked you are the only one who can unlock it by clicking ‘Unlock’ button in the app.
You can end your trip at any Bycyklen docking station or drop zone by clicking ‘End trip’ button during your Ride and following the instructions.
