Medsounds is a medical simulation technology that uses virtual patients for the teaching and certification of auscultation skills.
This simulator is adequate for the mass teaching of cardiopulmonary auscultation in a classroom or in simulation room, providing a unique interaction with virtual patients where you can combine sound and visual aid elements like the phonocardiogram, to expand your pedagogical reach.
In addition to these features, we also provide a set of self-learning methodologies that can be used to to help and stimulate the students into the hard task to master this skill.
This technology is supported by a unique and copyrighted database of virtual patients consisting of complete sets of real auscultation recordings, obtained during clinical evaluations of real patients, with educational quality certified and curated by specialists.
All Medsounds applications require internet connection.
To listen to the cases we advise the usage of headphones with a starting range of 20Hz or the 3M™ Littmann® M3200 eletronic stethoscope.
