Instead of constantly fiddling with the map, favorite up to five places so you can keep track of when they're quiet, loud, or somewhere in between. Just remember, you can only rate how a place sounds if you're inside the place or a short distance from the place. Otherwise, the app won't let you rate the place. Be a good sport - agree with rates that are accurate and disagree with rates that are inaccurate. But you can't agree or disagree with your own rates. Become a master - try to rate 100 different places to win trophies.
