The Privoro app is designed exclusively for use with iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. It can be used with the Privoro SafeCase.
When the Privoro app is installed on the iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 that is placed in the SafeCase, this app enables you to:
• Keep track of your devices
• View battery status of your SafeCase
• View your activities
• Communicate with the Privoro Portal
• Validate audio protection – the app implements a two-factor authentication, what you have (the SafeCase) and what you know (through interaction with the SafeCase) for testing the audio protections.
Audio Testing:
The app shows that each one of the SafeCase audio jammers is transmitting noise into the corresponding microphone of your phone – rendering indistinguishable your conversations and anything else audible.
This gives you the ability to:
• Record the jamming signal received by each microphone individually
• Playback the recordings to determine if anything can be distinguished over the jamming signal
Note: The iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 have a fourth microphone for which the SafeCase has a specific, independent audio jammer. This mic is not yet available for use by Apple-approved apps, but we will add this functionality when it becomes available. Despite not yet being able to allow you access to this mic for testing purposes, we wanted you to know that it is there. Please keep your Privoro app updated to get the latest functionality.
